The TaylorMade R9 allows the golfer to adjust the head's loft and lie, and this driver features a classic head shape that doesn’t resemble a snow shovel. Besides, the TaylorMade R9 driver is fully adjustable, so the R9 driver uses Flight Control Technology, Movable Weight Technology, classic clubhead shape, and a high quality graphite shaft.


Features of TaylorMade R9 driver

The ball speed off of this driver when contacted in the middle of the face is one of the highest ball speeds that we see during fittings.  Ball speed wise the R9 is comparable to the Ping drivers, or the new Cobra ZL.

The TaylorMade Flight Control Technology uses a metallic sleeve that is placed over the tip of the shaft which can be rotated into multiple positions.

The TaylorMade Moveable Weight Technology allows the golfer to adjust the weight of the club to their specifics. This is done by using a special TaylorMade wrench to move weight cartridges into ports that TaylorMade placed strategically positioned on the TaylorMade R9 driver.

The Fujikura Motore graphite shaft is available in a regular, stiff, or X stiff shaft. The TaylorMade R9 is geared for golfers that have a swing speed of 90 mph and up.

  The R9 driver is aerodymanic and slides through the air. I am hitting long and consistent drives with it. Great driver.

  I bought this R9 driver at a favorable job and there is no big difference compared with other TaylorMade dirvers. This club is worth the money.

  The R9 Driver is amazing....Ive been golfing for years now, i've played in College and this driver is the best thing ive came across in a driver. Ive had the taylor made burner and it doesnt hold a prayer to this one. The Tecknowledgey put into this driver is unserpast. It corrects your bad shots with strait hitts and there long.

  Best club on the market. Taylormade has finally done it with the R9 driver. Forgiving, accurate, and very easy to change/use the flight control technology.

  These clubs are unbelievable. Very easy to hit if you are experienced enough to hit a blade. Beautiful look and finish. I was deciding to buy a few sets R9 Driver.
