TaylorMade R9 Fairway Wood
The TaylorMade R9 Fairway Wood is the first fairway wood to feature Flight Control Technology (FCT) that allows golfers to adjust the R9 Fairway Wood to eight different head positions to launch the ball longer and straighter by changing the face angle, loft and lie angle. While the tweaking of clubs is commonplace on the Tour the R9 offers the ordinary golfer the same control over their clubs as a professional player using a simple bolt in the clubhead that can be changed in seconds. This gives golfers a wonderful level of control over the performance of their fairway woods with the R9 promoting shots which are high, carry further and move right to left, shots which are lower, controlled and move from left to right or shots which are neutral, straight and of mid level height.

I've always had a problem with the 3 wood and havn't had one that I trust in a long time. I recently upgraded my fairway to an R9 Fairway Wood and really like it.
Tried this club as an answer to get more distance off of the R9 fairway wood. It has proven to do just that and more. It did take some time to get used to but once you can swing it consistently, it is a club that will be in my bag a long time.
I would defiantly recommend this club to everyone, and i would even more so recommend a shaft change before you leave the store. Hope you found R9 Fairway Wood helpful.
It turned out to be the best 3-wood I've ever owned. The R9 is very easy to hit and gets up in the air easily, and even when I miss the sweet spot, the ball carries and rolls a great distance.
Started off my game driving with 3-wood till I started hitting my driver straight a few years ago- NOW I cant put this new wood down. Purchased the R9 460cc getting use to the size of the head. R9 Fairway Wood is nice.
